Here we are in the bountiful season of Spring, as the cold of winter finally begins to give way to the warmer and longer days of spring it is the perfect time to renew yourself through the practice of Yoga. So where can you start? Launching yourself into multiple classes a week might be for you but little changes in your day can make a huge difference. Here are some of the things I find helpful

Connect with nature go outdoors, sit and enjoy your morning drink in silence listening to the birdsong.

Lay down in the park and let the souds and sights bring you into the present moment and away form the hustle and bustle.

Take a mindful few moments, just stopping and feeling your body and breath, listen to what it has to say.

Start a breathwork practice, a few minutes a day can be transformative.

Come along to a workshop, restorative or retreat to take things to a deeper level.

Take the slightly longer walk home from the school run, walk or shops. Slow down.

There is often a misconception about yoga and that it is only for the flexible or fit, just for women or even just physical exercise. Yoga is so much more and is a holistic practice that promotes overall wellbeing.

At the Yoga Vine we believe yoga is for everyone and you will always find a class that suits your needs. Ranging from a very gentle yoga class, restorative yoga with the support of bolsters and blankets, a beginners to intermediate yoga class with adaptions for injuries, retreats, one2one yoga therapy or private yoga.
